How to Make Crispy chicken sandwich with garlic mayo
Follow these simple steps to prepare this delicious dish:
Step 1: Prep Your Chicken
Begin by seasoning your boneless skinless chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika. Give them some love! Set aside while you get your frying pan sizzling hot.
Step 2: Create Your Coating
In one bowl, mix together all-purpose flour with a pinch of salt and pepper. In another bowl, place panko breadcrumbs. This dual-coating technique helps achieve maximum crunch.
Step 3: Dredge That Chicken
Take each seasoned chicken breast and dredge it in flour first, shaking off any excess. Then dip it in egg wash (just beat an egg) before rolling it in panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
Step 4: Fry Until Golden
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering (about 350°F/175°C). Carefully add the breaded chicken and fry for about 5-7 minutes per side or until they reach golden perfection.
Step 5: Mix Your Garlic Mayo
While the chicken fries away happily, whisk together mayonnaise and freshly minced garlic in a small bowl. Adjust garlic levels according to your love for this aromatic delight!
Step 6: Assemble Your Sandwich
Once the chicken is crispy and cooked through (internal temperature should be at least 165°F/74°C), let it drain on paper towels briefly before placing it on brioche buns slathered generously with garlic mayo.
Transfer to plates and drizzle with sauce for the perfect finishing touch. Enjoy every crunchy bite surrounded by friends or curled up on the couch watching your favorite show—it’s versatile like that!
