Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (24-ounce) package frozen cheese ravioli
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese (optional, for added creaminess)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray or olive oil.
- Layer the Casserole: Start with a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the dish. Then, add a layer of frozen ravioli. Spread ricotta cheese (if using) over the ravioli, and top with a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
- Bake: Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Serve: Let the casserole cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding sautéed vegetables like spinach, mushrooms, or bell peppers.
- You can substitute Alfredo sauce or pesto for marinara if preferred.
- Make this ahead of time and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking.
