Ingredients

  • 500 g large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  • Marinate the Shrimp:
    In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the shrimp and toss to coat. Let marinate for 15-30 minutes.

  • Prepare the Skewers:
    If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.

  • Assemble the Skewers:
    Thread the marinated shrimp onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each shrimp for even cooking.

  • Preheat the Grill:
    Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 200°C or 400°F).

  • Grill the Shrimp:
    Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

  • Serve:
    Remove from the grill and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges if desired.
