- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

- Make the oat topping:
- In a separate bowl, mix together the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the cubed butter and use your fingers or a pastry cutter to work the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Assemble and bake:
- Sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the fruit mixture in the baking dish.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit filling is bubbling.
- Serve:
- Let the crumble cool for 10 minutes before serving. You can serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for added indulgence.
Notes
- Fruit Variations: You can mix and match fruits based on what you have on hand. Try adding berries or peaches for a different twist.
- Make-Ahead Tip: You can prepare the crumble ahead of time and store the fruit filling and topping separately in the fridge. Assemble and bake when you're ready to serve.
- For a Crunchier Topping: Add chopped nuts, such as walnuts or almonds, to the oat topping mixture for extra crunch and flavor.
