Ingredients

  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Brown Sugar
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Eggs
  • Melted Butter
  • Baking Powder
  • Baking Soda
  • Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Cloves
  • Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8x8 inch baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  • Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices.
  • Combine Mixtures: Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
