Description
This hilariously spooky Puking Pumpkin Taco Board is the perfect centerpiece for your Halloween party! A carved pumpkin "puking" guacamole, surrounded by all your favorite taco toppings and chips, makes for a fun and tasty treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 medium pumpkin (carved with a silly or gross face)
- 2 cups guacamole (for the "puke")
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey, cooked and seasoned with taco seasoning
- 8-10 small taco shells or tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños
- Salsa, for serving
- Tortilla chips for dipping
Instructions
- Carve the Pumpkin: Carve a silly or gross face into your pumpkin, with a wide open mouth where the guacamole will "spill out."
- Prepare the Guacamole: Place your carved pumpkin in the center of a large board or platter. Spread the guacamole in front of the pumpkin, making it look like it’s "puking."
- Cook the Meat: In a skillet, cook ground beef or turkey over medium heat until browned. Add taco seasoning and cook according to package instructions. Set aside.
- Arrange Taco Ingredients: Surround the pumpkin and guacamole with all the taco ingredients — taco shells, cooked meat, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, cilantro, jalapeños, and salsa.
- Add Chips: Place tortilla chips around the guacamole for guests to scoop up the "puke" as a dip or add to their tacos.
- Serve: Let guests build their own tacos or scoop up the "puking" guacamole with chips for a spooky and fun Halloween treat!
Notes
- You can use store-bought guacamole or make your own for added flavor.
- Feel free to customize the taco toppings to suit your preferences.
