Description

This No-Bake Banana Split Casserole is a refreshing, layered dessert that combines all the flavors of a banana split in one easy dish! With layers of creamy filling, fresh fruit, and a buttery crust, it's perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter

For the Cream Cheese Layer:

  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping (or 1 cup heavy cream whipped to stiff peaks)

For the Toppings:

  • 3-4 bananas, sliced
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 pint strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • Chocolate syrup and caramel syrup for drizzling
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • Maraschino cherries, for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Place the crust in the refrigerator to set.

Make the Cream Cheese Layer: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the whipped topping until evenly combined.

Assemble the Layers:

  1. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
  2. Layer the banana slices evenly on top of the cream cheese layer.
  3. Spoon and spread the drained crushed pineapple over the bananas.
  4. Add a layer of sliced strawberries.

Finish with Toppings: Spread an even layer of whipped topping over the strawberries. Drizzle with chocolate and caramel syrup, sprinkle with chopped nuts, and top with maraschino cherries.

Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight) to allow the layers to set and flavors to blend.

Notes

  • For an extra touch, add shredded coconut or mini chocolate chips as a topping.
  • Slice the bananas just before layering to avoid browning, or toss them lightly with lemon juice.
  • Serve within 1-2 days for the best texture.
