Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 8 oz fettuccine or your favorite pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
- Fresh basil for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta:
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the Chicken:

- Make the Sauce:
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in the sun-dried tomatoes, chicken broth, heavy cream, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Let it simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Combine Everything:
- Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Slice the chicken and return it to the skillet along with the cooked pasta. Toss everything together until well-coated in the creamy sauce.
- Serve:Garnish with fresh basil and a sprinkle of extra Parmesan. Enjoy!
Notes
- You can use any pasta you like—penne or rigatoni work well, too.
- For a lighter option, substitute half the heavy cream with milk or a dairy-free alternative.
