Description

Lobster Mac ‘N Cheese is the ultimate comfort food elevated with succulent lobster meat and a creamy, cheesy sauce. Topped with a golden breadcrumb crust, this dish brings together rich flavors and luxurious textures in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups cooked lobster meat (fresh or frozen)
  • 3 tbsp butter (for pasta and topping)
  • 4 tbsp butter (for cheese sauce)
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan (for topping)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare Lobster: If using fresh lobster, cook and chop into bite-sized pieces. If frozen, thaw and drain excess water.
  3. Make Cheese Sauce: Melt 4 tbsp butter in a saucepan. Add flour and whisk for 2-3 minutes. Gradually add milk and cream, whisking until thickened. Stir in cheddar, Gruyère, and Parmesan until smooth. Season with mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Combine: Stir cooked pasta and lobster into the cheese sauce. Pour into a greased baking dish.
  5. Prepare Topping: Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and melted butter. Sprinkle over the mac and cheese.
  6. Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Serve: Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
