Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top; let sit until frothy (about 5 minutes).
  2. Add melted butter, salt, and half the flour; mix well. Gradually add remaining flour until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about an hour until doubled.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle (½ inch thick). Spread softened butter over it, then sprinkle with cinnamon and evenly distribute raspberries.
  5. Tightly roll up the dough from one long side and cut into equal pieces (about 2 inches wide). Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
