  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine cherries, granulated sugar, and 1 tablespoon of flour. Toss until cherries are well-coated.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix oats, 1 cup of all-purpose flour, and brown sugar. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  4. Spread the cherry mixture evenly in the baking dish and sprinkle the oat topping over it.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm, ideally with vanilla ice cream.
