  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups fresh apples, chopped (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and eggs one at a time until well combined. Gently fold in chopped apples.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust and bake for 30-35 minutes or until edges are set but center is slightly jiggly.
  5. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack before drizzling with caramel sauce and slicing into bars.
