For the Meatballs:

- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably whole wheat)

- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten

For the Tzatziki Sauce:
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 small cucumber, grated and excess moisture squeezed out
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill or 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Tzatziki Sauce:
- In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well and refrigerate to allow the flavors to meld.
- Make the Meatballs:
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, oregano, onion powder, salt, pepper, and beaten egg. Mix until just combined.
- Form and Cook the Meatballs:
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Shape the turkey mixture into meatballs (about 1-2 inches in diameter) and place them in the skillet. Cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve:
- Arrange the meatballs on a serving platter with a bowl of tzatziki sauce for dipping. Enjoy with pita bread or a fresh salad!
