Description
Garlic butter salmon is a quick and flavorful dish that brings together tender salmon fillets and a rich, aromatic garlic butter sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights or special occasions, this recipe is simple yet impressive!
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (about half a lemon)
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Prep the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat the Skillet: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter until bubbly, being careful not to let it brown.
- Cook the Salmon: Add the salmon fillets skin-side down (if applicable). Cook for 4-5 minutes without moving them to achieve a nice sear.
- Add Garlic: Flip the fillets gently and add the minced garlic around the salmon. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the salmon is just cooked through.
- Finish with Lemon: Drizzle the lemon juice over the salmon and sprinkle with parsley. Cook for another minute to combine flavors.
- Serve: Transfer the salmon to a serving platter, spooning the garlic butter sauce over the top. Garnish with lemon wedges.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh salmon and high-quality butter.
