These fudgy gluten-free brownies are rich, chocolatey, and incredibly easy to make. With a few simple ingredients, you can create a perfect dessert that’s both indulgent and gluten-free!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (or coconut oil for dairy-free)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the gluten-free flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, melt the butter and then mix in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Transfer the batter into the pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then slice into squares.
Notes
- For a dairy-free option, substitute the butter with coconut oil and ensure your chocolate chips are dairy-free.
- You can add-ins like nuts or peanut butter swirls to customize these brownies.
- Make sure not to overbake. For fudgy brownies, aim for moist crumbs on the toothpick test, not clean.
