  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season the beef roast generously with salt and black pepper, then place it in the baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the glaze over the beef roast for even coating.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  6. Remove the foil during the last 15 minutes; brush remaining glaze on top to caramelize.
