Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden brown (about 10-15 minutes). Stir in honey or balsamic vinegar towards the end.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about an eighth-inch thickness and cut into squares (3 inches each).
  4. Place a piece of brie and a spoonful of caramelized onions in the center of each square.
  5. Fold the squares diagonally to form triangles and seal edges with a fork.
  6. Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
