- 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 pound (450g) ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1 cup chopped bell peppers
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook Meat: In a skillet, cook ground beef or Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and season with oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Layer: In the crock pot, layer half of the cooked pasta, followed by half of the meat mixture, half of the marinara sauce, and half of the cheese. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Add Toppings: Top with pepperoni slices and additional cheese if desired.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours, or until bubbly and cheese is melted.
- Serve: Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
