  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (for coating)

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine water, sugar, vegetable oil, and salt. Stir until boiling.
  2. Remove from heat and add flour all at once; mix vigorously until a dough forms.
  3. Allow the dough to cool for about 5 minutes before adding eggs one at a time until smooth.
  4. Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Pipe long strips onto parchment paper and generously spray with cooking spray.
  6. Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, shaking halfway through for even cooking.
  7. Roll warm churros in cinnamon-sugar before serving.
