Description

A festive blend of tart cranberries, fluffy whipped cream, sweet marshmallows, and juicy pineapple, this Cranberry Fluff Salad is a creamy, refreshing dish perfect for holidays. Serve it as a side, dessert, or a delightful treat to brighten your table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries, finely chopped
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, well-drained
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • ½ cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Cranberries: Chop cranberries and mix them with sugar in a bowl. Let sit for 30 minutes to macerate.
  • Mix the Creamy Base: In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Fold in whipped cream until fully combined.
  • Combine the Ingredients: Add the drained pineapple, macerated cranberries (with juice), marshmallows, and pecans (if using) to the creamy base. Mix gently.
  • Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight to let the flavors meld and the texture set.
  • Serve: Stir gently before serving. Garnish with additional cranberries or pecans for decoration if desired.

Notes

  • For a nut-free version, skip the pecans or replace them with toasted sunflower seeds.
  • Adjust the sugar to taste if you prefer a less sweet salad.
  • This dish tastes best when prepared a day in advance, as chilling enhances the flavors.
