Ingredients
Scale
For the cake:
- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 ½ cups crushed Oreos (about 15 cookies)
For the glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup crushed Oreos for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt pan with butter and flour to prevent sticking.
- Mix the batter: In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, sour cream, vegetable oil, eggs, and milk. Stir until smooth. Gently fold in the crushed Oreos to distribute evenly throughout the batter.
- Pour into pan: Transfer the batter into the prepared Bundt pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake: Place the pan in the oven and bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Prepare the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled cake, then sprinkle with additional crushed Oreos for a finishing touch.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- For a richer flavor, try using dark chocolate cake mix.
- You can freeze the cake without the glaze for up to 3 months. Simply wrap it tightly in plastic wrap before freezing.
- Be sure the cake has cooled completely before glazing to avoid melting the topping.
- For extra Oreo flavor, consider mixing Oreo filling into the glaze or frosting.
