  • Author: Linda BEVERLY
  • Total Time: 8 minute
  • Yield: 10-12 servings 1x

Description

This indulgent Chocolate Oreo Bundt Cake combines moist, rich chocolate cake with a crunchy Oreo surprise, topped with a creamy glaze. It’s the perfect dessert for any occasion, offering both texture and flavor in every bite!

Ingredients

Scale

For the cake:

  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 ½ cups crushed Oreos (about 15 cookies)

For the glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup crushed Oreos for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt pan with butter and flour to prevent sticking.
  • Mix the batter: In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, sour cream, vegetable oil, eggs, and milk. Stir until smooth. Gently fold in the crushed Oreos to distribute evenly throughout the batter.
  • Pour into pan: Transfer the batter into the prepared Bundt pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  • Bake: Place the pan in the oven and bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Prepare the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled cake, then sprinkle with additional crushed Oreos for a finishing touch.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try using dark chocolate cake mix.
  • You can freeze the cake without the glaze for up to 3 months. Simply wrap it tightly in plastic wrap before freezing.
  • Be sure the cake has cooled completely before glazing to avoid melting the topping.
  • For extra Oreo flavor, consider mixing Oreo filling into the glaze or frosting.
