- 12 soft caramels
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 cup chocolate chips (milk or dark chocolate)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother coating)
- Sea salt (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare Brownies: Crumble baked and cooled brownies into a large bowl.
- Make Caramel Mixture: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt caramels with heavy cream in 15-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Form Truffles: Combine crumbled brownies with melted caramel. Form into small, bite-sized balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill for 15 minutes.
- Coat with Chocolate: Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil. Dip each truffle in melted chocolate, placing them back on the parchment. Sprinkle with sea salt.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate until chocolate is set. Enjoy chilled or at room temperature.
