- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup dried cherries, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, then stir in chocolate chips and cherries.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set. Let cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- You can substitute dried cherries with fresh if preferred.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
