- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until combined.
- Gently fold in blueberries.
- Drop tablespoon-sized portions onto a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden.
- Cool on a wire rack.
Notes
- If using frozen blueberries, don’t thaw them to prevent dough from turning blue.
- You can substitute the sugar with honey or maple syrup for a different flavor.
