Description
A golden loaf filled with creamy, cheesy artichoke dip, baked to perfection. This dish is perfect for parties, game nights, or indulgent snacks.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 round loaf of bread (sourdough or boule)
- 1 can (14 oz) of artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp dried parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Bread: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Hollow out the center of the bread loaf, leaving a sturdy shell. Reserve the removed bread for dipping.
- Make the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the artichoke hearts, cream cheese, mayonnaise, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, and parsley. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Stuff the Bread: Spoon the mixture into the hollowed bread loaf, filling it to the top. Place the stuffed loaf on a baking sheet.
- Bake: Cover the loaf with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Serve: Let cool slightly before serving with the reserved bread pieces, crackers, or fresh veggies for dipping.
Notes
- Make it Ahead: Prepare the dip in advance and refrigerate until ready to bake.
- Add-Ons: For extra flavor, add cooked spinach, chopped sun-dried tomatoes, or diced jalapeños to the filling.
- Bread Options: Try ciabatta or French bread as alternatives to sourdough.
