Description

A golden loaf filled with creamy, cheesy artichoke dip, baked to perfection. This dish is perfect for parties, game nights, or indulgent snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 round loaf of bread (sourdough or boule)
  • 1 can (14 oz) of artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Bread: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Hollow out the center of the bread loaf, leaving a sturdy shell. Reserve the removed bread for dipping.
  2. Make the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the artichoke hearts, cream cheese, mayonnaise, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, and parsley. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Stuff the Bread: Spoon the mixture into the hollowed bread loaf, filling it to the top. Place the stuffed loaf on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake: Cover the loaf with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  5. Serve: Let cool slightly before serving with the reserved bread pieces, crackers, or fresh veggies for dipping.

Notes

  • Make it Ahead: Prepare the dip in advance and refrigerate until ready to bake.
  • Add-Ons: For extra flavor, add cooked spinach, chopped sun-dried tomatoes, or diced jalapeños to the filling.
  • Bread Options: Try ciabatta or French bread as alternatives to sourdough.
