Description

  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup graham cracker crumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two round cake pans.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sugar until combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat together eggs, milk, and melted butter until smooth. Add to dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Divide the batter between the prepared pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool on wire racks.
  5. For the frosting, combine marshmallow fluff, powdered sugar, and cream cheese in a bowl and beat until fluffy.
  6. Assemble the cake by layering one cake on a plate with half of the frosting on top. Add the second layer and frost the entire cake with remaining frosting. Garnish with chocolate chips and graham cracker crumbs.
