Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Melt Butter: In a small oven-safe skillet, melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat and mix in both sugars until smooth.
  • Mix Wet Ingredients: Stir in vanilla extract and egg yolk until combined.
  • Add Dry Ingredients: Gently mix in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until a thick batter forms. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Bake: Smooth the batter in the skillet and bake for 15-18 minutes until the edges are set but the center is slightly gooey.
