- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup fresh cherries, pitted and chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder to the mixture, and stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips and chopped cherries.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes

- Fresh cherries work best, but frozen cherries can be used if thawed and drained well.
