- 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
- ½ cup warm milk
- 2 large eggs
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
For the Cheesecake Filling:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
For the Strawberry Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp strawberry puree
- 1–2 tsp milk
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough:
Mix warm milk and yeast, let activate. Combine with flour, eggs, butter, and sugar to form dough. Knead until smooth and let rise until doubled. - Shape and Fry:
Roll out dough, cut into rounds, and let rise again. Fry in hot oil (350°F) until golden brown, then drain on paper towels. - Make the Filling and Glaze:
Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth for the filling. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, strawberry puree, and milk to a smooth consistency. - Assemble the Donuts:
Fill each donut with cheesecake filling using a piping bag. Dip tops into strawberry glaze and let set.
