  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
  • ½ cup warm milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

For the Cheesecake Filling:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

For the Strawberry Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp strawberry puree
  • 12 tsp milk

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough:
    Mix warm milk and yeast, let activate. Combine with flour, eggs, butter, and sugar to form dough. Knead until smooth and let rise until doubled.
  2. Shape and Fry:
    Roll out dough, cut into rounds, and let rise again. Fry in hot oil (350°F) until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
  3. Make the Filling and Glaze:
    Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth for the filling. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, strawberry puree, and milk to a smooth consistency.
  4. Assemble the Donuts:
    Fill each donut with cheesecake filling using a piping bag. Dip tops into strawberry glaze and let set.
