Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Sausage is a one-pan wonder that’s hearty, flavorful, and perfect for weeknight dinners. Tender potatoes, savory sausage, and a blend of cheese and ranch seasoning come together to create a comforting and delicious dish the whole family will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups potatoes, diced into 1-inch cubes
  • 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Ingredients:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Season the Potatoes:
In a large mixing bowl, toss the diced potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Assemble the Dish:
Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Scatter the sliced sausage over the top.
  4. Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the potatoes are golden and tender.
  5. Add Cheese:
Remove the pan from the oven and sprinkle the cheddar cheese evenly over the potatoes and sausage. Return to the oven for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

  • For added vegetables, mix in bell peppers or broccoli before baking.
  • Swap the smoked sausage for turkey or chicken sausage for a lighter option.
