- 3/4 cup milk
For the Beef Filling:
- 1 lb thinly sliced roast beef
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Au Jus:
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Prepare the Biscuits: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Stir in milk until just combined. Turn out, knead gently, and cut into biscuits. Place on a baking sheet.
- Bake the Biscuits: Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly.
- Cook the Beef: In a skillet, combine sliced beef, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Heat until warmed through.
- Make the Au Jus: Simmer beef broth, soy sauce, and garlic powder in a saucepan for 3-5 minutes.
- Assemble: Split biscuits, fill with beef, and serve with au jus for dipping.
