Ingredients

  • 450 g cooked lobster meat (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup celery (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 New England-style hot dog buns
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (for toasting)
  • Lettuce leaves (for serving, optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Lobster Mixture:
    In a medium bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, celery, chives, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.

  • Toast the Buns:
    Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add butter to the skillet and let it melt. Once melted, place the hot dog buns cut-side down in the skillet. Toast until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

  • Assemble the Rolls:
    If desired, line each toasted bun with a lettuce leaf. Spoon a generous portion of the lobster mixture into each bun.
