Soft, chewy, and packed with chocolate chips and colorful candies, these monster cookies are made with cake mix for a quick, fun, and festive Halloween treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup colorful candy-coated chocolates (like M&Ms)
  • 1/4 cup candy eyes

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, oil, and eggs. Stir until a thick dough forms. Fold in the chocolate chips and candy-coated chocolates.
  • Form Cookies: Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough and place them on the baking sheet. Press candy eyes into the dough for a spooky look.
  • Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set and the cookies are slightly golden. Let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • You can use different colored candy eyes and chocolates to match your Halloween theme.
  • Make sure not to overbake for that perfect ooey-gooey texture.
