Ingredients

Scale

  • 20 jumbo pasta shells
  • 250g ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preparation: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  • Filling: In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix: In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and the egg. Add the cooked beef and mix well.
  • Assemble: Stuff each pasta shell with the beef and ricotta mixture. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange the stuffed shells in the dish and cover with remaining marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

  • You can use store-bought marinara sauce or your favorite homemade recipe.
