- 20 jumbo pasta shells
- 250g ground beef
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preparation: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- Filling: In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Mix: In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and the egg. Add the cooked beef and mix well.
- Assemble: Stuff each pasta shell with the beef and ricotta mixture. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange the stuffed shells in the dish and cover with remaining marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
Notes
- You can use store-bought marinara sauce or your favorite homemade recipe.
- For extra creaminess, add a dollop of sour cream to the ricotta mixture.
