Description

Bisquick Cinnamon Rolls are a quick and delicious way to enjoy the classic cinnamon roll flavor without the hassle of yeast dough. These rolls are soft, sweet, and perfect for breakfast or a special treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/2 cups Bisquick mix
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • (Optional) 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Combine Bisquick mix, milk, and egg until just mixed.
  2. Make the Filling: Mix brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nuts. Add 2 tablespoons melted butter.
  3. Roll Out the Dough: Flour your surface, roll the dough to 1/2 inch thick. Spread 3/4 cup melted butter and the sugar mixture evenly over the dough.
  4. Form the Rolls: Roll the dough into a log, slice into 1-inch pieces, and place in a greased 9×13-inch pan.
  5. Bake and Glaze: Bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the glaze and drizzle over warm rolls.

Notes

  • Ensure the dough is not overmixed to keep the rolls tender.
  • Using dental floss to slice the rolls helps maintain their shape.
  • Adjust the filling to taste; add more or less cinnamon or sugar as desired.
