- 2 1/2 cups Bisquick mix
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3/4 cup butter, melted and cooled
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- (Optional) 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: Combine Bisquick mix, milk, and egg until just mixed.
- Make the Filling: Mix brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nuts. Add 2 tablespoons melted butter.
- Roll Out the Dough: Flour your surface, roll the dough to 1/2 inch thick. Spread 3/4 cup melted butter and the sugar mixture evenly over the dough.
- Form the Rolls: Roll the dough into a log, slice into 1-inch pieces, and place in a greased 9×13-inch pan.
- Bake and Glaze: Bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the glaze and drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
- Ensure the dough is not overmixed to keep the rolls tender.
- Using dental floss to slice the rolls helps maintain their shape.
- Adjust the filling to taste; add more or less cinnamon or sugar as desired.
