Description

Ingredients

  • ½ pound dry shell pasta
  • ¾ cup pickles, sliced
  • ⅔ cup cheddar cheese, diced
  • 3 tablespoons white onion, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill
  • ½ cup pickle juice
  • ⅔ cup mayonnaise
  • ⅓ cup sour cream
  • ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta: Boil pasta until al dente, then drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Marinate Pasta: Toss pasta with ½ cup pickle juice and let sit for 5 minutes. Drain and discard pickle juice.
  3. Prepare Dressing: Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, 4 tablespoons pickle juice, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Toss marinated pasta with pickles, cheese, onion, and dill. Add dressing and mix gently.
  5. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
